Is it possible to raise a wild crow or raven as a pet? How to catch one?

Lots and lots of crows have migrated to where I live over the winter. I think I would like to catch one and keep it because I hear they make good pets and sometimes you can teach them words.
If it’s possible how do I make an effective humane trap for a crow? How do I take care of it?
Okay, I’ll nix the idea of catching one. Do domestic bird stores sell crows/ravens?

It is not legal to “own” a native wild bird, but there are breeders of ravens out there. The waiting lists can be years, so its best to get in contact with several breeders and be ready to wait.If you are really dedicated, and have lots of time, money, and land you can get certified as an animal rehabilitator and help injured birds.
