My swiss army knife is made by wegner but victronx also makes swiss army knifes which came first?

Victorinox purchased Wenger in 2005. Both companies have been official makers of the Swiss Army standard issue pocket knife. The real question is what’s written at the base of your knife’s largest blade? A real Victorinox/Wenger knife will have the maker’s name stamped into the base of the blade.

Oh, and for the record, Victorinox was the original manufacturer.
