I am going on a ghost hunt to-night at smithies hall bolton.?
It is from 8pm to 2am with Ian lawman, has anyone been to smithies hall or any ghost hunts, Can you tell me how you all got on and what are your opinions on ghost hunts. THANKS JIM.
I went to university with some guys that ran a ghost hunt. It is of course all a clever form of terror theatre. If you go along with it like a horror pantomime it can be fun.

Rookie of the Year $3.87 Baseball movies seem like a sure thing, combining the drama of the game with positive values. So it’s too bad this pleasant film takes the field in the most superficial way. Henry, the worst player in Little League, suffers an injury that miraculously heals as the strongest pitching arm in the world. His life becomes a kid’s dream with a career in the Majors, but nothing really happens. His streng… |

A Passion Play $4.66 Following quickly on the heels of their career-defining Aqualung and Thick as a Brick, Ian Anderson’s Jethro Tull demonstrated that their musical and thematic ambitions were as muscular as ever on 1973′s Passion Play. But if Thick was a bit tongue in cheek about its conceptual conceits, Passion was a dizzying example of the prog-rock era’s overweening musical aspirations at their zenith. Anderson … |

Les Miserables – The Dream Cast in Concert $27.95 The 10th anniversary concert video of the international musical sensation Les Misérables might be the best thing to appease fans until a full-fledged movie comes along. Or it might be even better, as feature films are often subject to extramusical casting considerations and this 1995 dream cast is superb. Reprising their roles from the original London company are Colm Wilkinson (Valjean), M… |

Death Becomes Her [VHS] $3.28 If Robert Zemeckis’s mega-hit Forrest Gump was too sweet for your taste, you may enjoy the undiluted bitterness of his previous movie, a cynical black comedy that was ahead of its time. Death Becomes Her, an outlandish parable about America’s obsession with youth and vanity, exposes the corrosive side of Zemeckis’s comic sensibility, the sort of scathing satirical edge he gleefully flourished in h… |

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang [VHS] $4.90 This remastered, pan-and-scan 30th-anniversary edition of that kiddie-car caper is flawed but solid family fare. It retains a quaint charm while some of the songs–including the title tune–are quite hummable. A huge plus is Dick Van Dyke, who is extremely appealing as an eccentric inventor around the turn of the century. With nimble fingers and a unique way of looking at the world, he invents for… |
