does anyone know a fairy tale which it is possible it draw the good guy as the villain?

im doing a art project at school where we must use a fairy tale and take a twist on the main character. majority of people are doing snow white/ frog prince/3 little pigs and i want to do something different. if anyone knows a story where the hero can be portrayed as the villain/ vise versa. thanks.xx

The Shrek films are a good example of this. The Prince, in most fairy tales, is usually the hero and the ogre is more often the evil, monsterous villain.

I have seen, somewhere, a story in which Hansel and Gretel were horrible brats and the old woman in the candy house was being victimized by them.

The animated series, Futurama, has a recuring character that is an evil, robot Santa Claus.

Sleeping Beauty can be retold where, upon being awakened by the Prince, she turns out to be a manipulative shrew with no redeeming qualities other than her looks, and, the witch that put her to sleep had a VERY good reason for it.

The ugly duckling of the Hans Christian Andersen story could grow up and turn out to be a big, ugly buzzard instead of a swan.

How about Chicken Little as a burglar who sends people out paniced to the streets while he sneaks in and robs their homes?
