Art Wall Fountains Make a Dramatic Impact
Art Wall Fountains have always been a fascination for me and since we installed a regular wall fountain in our house, I have become even more intrigued by the artistic ones. I feel healthier since we installed our first fountain which is one of the reasons we decided to install a second fountain. We certainly do not have so many allergy problems and we are more relaxed and sleep better.
We will be installing our second wall fountain in the New Year, this time, in our living room. We like all sorts of fountains but for me, wall fountains are the most dramatic of indoor fountains.
The size of a wall fountain – the depth is only about six inches – makes them very versatile. A wall fountain can be mounted in a prominent place on the surface of your wall, or even have it built right into the wall. We will probably mount ours on the wall surface, as the fountains are only about six inches deep and will not take up any space.
The cost of wall fountains varies with the type of fountain you choose and also depends upon the material from which your fountain is made. Wall fountains are built from a variety of materials including mirror, slate, marble, copper, copper vein, stainless steel. You can also get them in bamboo.
The style that we have decided for our next project is a Galaxy Art wall fountain. The reason we chose Galaxy is that their art wall fountains are one of a kind, making our choice unique. When you choose one of these, what you get is a custom fine art picture that is hand painted on the back of a strong, clear acrylic panel. The water flows down the front side of the panel (the unpainted side) so the picture will always be in good condition.
When you order a Galaxy art fountain, you can have the artist paint the wall fountain of your dreams in any size that you desire. Alternatively, you can take a standard art wall fountain and have the artist change the colors to the color of your choice to create your very own custom home wall fountain.
The acrylic panel with the painting on it is sealed to prevent the picture being affected by damp and set inside a frame and basin of your choice. We have chosen the heat finished copper frame and basin.
The waterfall flows down the front side of the acrylic panel, into the pool of water in the copper basin, making beautiful, soothing water sounds. The visual look of our custom art fountain with the gorgeous painting, combined with the beautiful soothing water sounds, will make for a stunning, relaxing experience that we will absolutely enjoy and cherish for many years to come.
